YOUK BACK IN BEANTOWN...TIGERS ON A ROLL

Youk returned to Fenway Park last night.

Before his first at-bat, he received a standing ovation. He, promptly, singled and scored the game's first run.

Youkilis went 3-for-4 with a single and 2 doubles.

Adrian Gonzalez blasted a tiebreaking 3-run homer in the 8th inning to give the Red Sox a 5-1 win over the Chicago White Sox.

David Ortiz had a walk and a single, giving him 10 straight games with at least one hit and a walk to set a club record. Ted Williams held the previous record, going 9 straight in 1950.

Ortiz injured his right Achilles and is scheduled for an MRI today.

Carl Crawford returned from the DL for the first time this season (left elbow and wrist injuries). He went 1-for-3 with a walk.

The Large Father and Youk discuss the douchebag in the background.

Shhh...he's coming...

Fuck Valentine.

Because the White Sox lost and the Tigers won - Detroit, now, sits in 2nd place in the AL Central - 2 1/2 games behind Chicago.

The Tigers beat the Angels 8-6.

Quintin Berry went 3-for-5 with an RBI and 2 stolen bases.

Brennan Boesch belted a 2-run homer.

The Tigers are on a roll.

Detroit optioned pitcher Luis Marte to Triple-A Toledo and have recalled pitcher Jacob Turner to start tonight's game.

From the 'People of Britain Don't Understand Baseball' file, we have Engish singer Cher Lloyd who exhibited a massive jersey/lid combo fail at Guilfest...
