TIGERS & A'S SWEEP...ALL IS RIGHT IN THE BASEBALL WORLD

Before Sunday's Tigers-White Sox game, my buddy took this pic at Nemo's.
He wanted me to post it on the HBWHOF...

Oh, baby, the Detroit Tigers swept the Chicago White Sox.
Chicago, now, sits 1 1/2 games back of Detroit in the AL Central.
On Sunday, Tigers' hurler Jacob Turner got his first big league win. Turner went 5 1/3 innings and left the game with a 6-3 Tigers lead.
Miguel Cabrera homered twice, including a monster-shot into the camera platform in centerfield that was estimated at 457 feet. Miggy's second dinger was his 300th career homer!
When you're swattin' homers in Comerica Park - YOU ARE A POWER RANGER! The Copa is a spacious ballpark. This ain't Yankee Stadium.
According to STATS, LLC. Cabrera was 29 years, 95 days old Sunday. When Hank Aaron was that age, he had 309 home runs.
Quintin Berry and Brennan Boesch also homered to help the Tigers beat the White Sox 6-4.

It was a great day for baseball.
The Oakland A's swept their 4-game series against the New York Yankees!
Oakland has become the home of the Gatorade shower and pie in the face.
On Sunday, the Yankees had a 4-3 lead in the bottom of the 9th. Seth Smith hit a homer off closer Rafael Soriano to tie the game and send it to extra innings.
Coco Crisp singled home the winning run in the 12th and the A's rallied from
4 runs down to whomp the Yankees 5-4 and complete a 4-game sweep.
Oakland is 14-2 in July with a league-leading 11 walk-off wins!!
Yankees payroll - $197,962,289.
A's payroll - $55,372,500.
Brandon Inge and Kurt Suzuki went DEEP too!
