WHAT A DAY!!!

Wowee! What an amazing finish to the MLB regular season, huh?
I don't ever remember the final day of the baseball season being this exciting.
The two Game #162's that I'm REALLY following:
Texas Rangers vs Oakland Athletics
This one's OVA! The Amazin' A's beat the Rangers 12-5.
Oakland swept Texas and overcame a 5-game deficit in the final 9 days!
The A's clinched a playoff spot Monday and, this afternoon, captured the AL West Division title.
If you frequent this blog, you know I've been closely following, and featuring, the exploits of the A's since the inception of the Hot Baseball Wife Hall of Fame.
Way back when, my 2nd Hot Baseball Wife inductee was Jamie Kotsay - when her hubby, Mark, played in Oakland. Last season I inducted two extremely Hot Baseball Wives - Amanda McCarthy - whose hubby Brandon pitches for the A's (You're all aware that he's on the DL after having brain surgery) and Kimberly DeJesus - whose husband David played outfield for the A's and signed, during the off-season, with the Cubs.
I was also monitoring the performance of former Tiger Brandon Inge after he split for Oakland.
The A's have had so many defining moments this season: 14 walk-off wins(The most in the Bigs), the celebratory walk-off-pie-in-the-face, the 'Bernie Lean' dance craze, Scotty Sizemore blowing-out his knee in Spring Training, Bartolo Colon receiving a 50-game suspension for a positive testosterone test, Brandon Inge crankin' Grand Slams and then undergoing shoulder surgery, trading catcher Kurt Suzuki to the Nationals and the aforementioned Brandon McCarthy surgery that was necessary after a line drive to the head.
And, after all that, a division title and a trip to the post-season!
Congrats Oakland A's - you deserve it all...
***The Oakland A's Wives are the Hottest and most gracious in all of baseball.
I love 'em.
I'm not going to caption all these pictures - but here's Amanda & Brandon McCarthy, Brooke & Scott Sizemore, Tina Sarnecki & Tommy Milone, Kaycee & Eric Sogard and a bevy of other beautiful A's wives...

The other game I'm ALL OVER - Detroit Tigers vs Kansas City Royals
This one is still going...but Miguel Cabrera has already been pulled out of the game.
Or should I say Triple Crown winner Miguel Cabrera...

It appears that the Tigers and Athletics will play each other in the playoffs.
It's a shame that one has to lose.
