ALCS GAME 2

Anibal Sanchez pitched 7 innings, allowed 3 hits, 3 walks and fired 7 Ks in a 3-0 shutout of the Yankees.
Phillip Douglas Coke closed the deal. Coke tossed the final 2 innings, allowed 1 hit and struck-out 3 Yankees batters.
New York starter Hiroki Kuroda had a perfect game until the 6th. Kuroda ended up hurling 7 2/3 innings, allowed 5 hits, 3 runs and sat down 11 Tigers hitters.
Things are NOT going the Yankees way - Derek Jeter is lost for the postseason,
A-Rod and Curtis Granderson are slumping, Robinson Cano is on a postseason tear going 0-for-26 thus far and the umps aren't helping the cause either.
As we all witnessed, on Sunday, second base umpire Jeff Nelson completely missed a call when Robinson Cano made a swipe tag after Omar Infante made a head-first dive back to second. Replays showed Cano making the tag before Infante's hand touched the base - but Nelson called Infante safe.
Avisail Garcia, Miggy and Delmon 'Yankees Killer' Young drove in the Tigers' runs.

Phil Coke is just nasty in the Big Apple...

To celebrate Justin Verlander's start, on Tuesday, here's Kate Upton at the New York Film Festival over the weekend.
