JV pitched a complete game shutout to end the Oakland A's amazing season. Verlander tossed a 4-hit, 11 strikeout masterpiece to give the Tigers a 6-0 victory over the A's.
Everyone KNEW JV wasn't leaving the mound - so the Detroit bullpen didn't bother getting off their asses.
Verlander racked-up 22 Ks in his two ALDS starts!
