On Wednesday, the Yankees beat the Tigers 12-8. Curtis Granderson hit his 30th homer and added 4 RBIs.
Thursday's day-game saw the Yankees win, again, 4-3. Joaquin Benoit served-up back-to-back jacks to Mark Teixeira and Eric Chavez to ensure the loss.
In the 10 games Benoit has appeared in, since the All-Star break, he has given up 9 hits - 7 have been home runs!
