OFF TO THE BALLGAME

WTF is with the Oakland Athletics?
Just when they started to turn things around - they go to Seattle and get swept by the Mariners!
The Mariners beat the A's 7-4.
It looks like that trade with Detroit worked well for Seattle.
Casper Wells started in left field for the 4th straight game and went 2-for-4 with 2 RBIs. Former Tigers' pitcher Charlie Furbush pitched 5 innings for the win.
For the A's - Josh Willingham hit his 16th homer and 61st RBI and Scotty Sizemore hit a double for his 30th RBI...

For the second night in a row Jacoby Ellsbury drove in the winning run!
The Red Sox beat the Indians 4-3 when Ellsbury homered with 2 outs in the 9th inning.

Newly acquired Detroit pitcher Doug Fister got the victory in a 5-4 Tigers win over the Texas Rangers.
Ryan Raburn and Alex Avila went YARD for the Tigers.

The HBWHOF is headed-out to catch today's game between the Tigers and Rangers.
Alexi Ogando vs Brad Penny at 1:05 PM.
