KATE UPTON LOOKS PRETTY DARN GOOD IN A BASEBALL JERSEY

We're at the All-Star break.
The Red Sox are in 1st place with a one game lead over the Yankees.
The Tigers are in 1st place with a 1/2 game lead over the Tribe.
Boston enters the All-Star break on a 6-game winning streak after completing a 4-game sweep of the Orioles.
On Sunday, the Red Sox beat the Orioles 8-6.
This is my personal opinion: I'm tired of Papelbon. Next season make Daniel Bard the closer. That dude's got serious HEAT. He pitched the 8th inning and extended his scoreless streak to 19 1/3 innings!

The temperature was 95 degrees in Kansas City. With the heat index it was 113.
In that inferno Justin Verlander pitched 7 2/3 innings, allowed 6 hits,
1 run, no walks and fired 9 Ks.
The Tigers defeated the Royals 2-1.
Verlander leads the majors with 147 strikouts.
JV is the first Tiger since Jack Morris in 1987 with 12 wins before the
All-Star break.

The 2011 All-Star Game is turning into quite the fiasco!
Thus far, the following All-Stars have bowed-out!!
American League MIA: A-Rod, Derek Jeter, Mariano Rivera, CC Sabathia, James Shields, Justin Verlander, Felix Hernandez, David Price, Jon Lester
National League MIA: Cole Hamels, Matt Cain, Placido Polanco, Jose Reyes, Shane Victorino

Back in 2005, when the All-Star Game was in Detroit, the HBWHOF hit-up all the festivites - FanFest at Cobo Hall, All-Star Sunday with the Futures Game and the Legends & Celebrity Softball Game. It was pretty cool! I remember Jennie Finch, Amanda Beard and Leanne Tweeden were the Hotties in attendance.
This year's babes were pretty impressive too.
Erin Andrews, Jordin Sparks, Jennie Finch &
