SATURDAY NIGHT'S ALRIGHT FOR BASEBALL

What can you say about Saturday's Tigers - Twins game?
Everything that could've gone right - did. What a groovy day!
Doug Fister got his first career shutout. Fister tossed a complete game, allowed 7 hits, no runs, no walks and racked-up 7 Ks.
Austin Jackson, Delmon Young and Miguel Cabrera all went YARD.
Miggy's 'tater in the 4th inning tied him with Josh Hamilton for the AL lead in home runs.
Cabrera currently leads all 3 categories on his quest to be the first Triple Crown winner since Carl Yastrzemski in 1967. Miggy has 42 homers, 131 RBIs and a .332 batting average.
Josh Hamilton is sidelined for this weekend's series at Seattle because of a sinus condition that has caused blurred vision. Meanwhile Cabrera has a doubleheader, today, with a scorching bat!
Detroit beat Minnesota 8-0.
The Tigers began the day 1 1/2 games behind the division-leading Chicago White Sox. After the Tigers were showered and chillin' the Angels handed the White Sox their 4th-straight loss with a 4-2 win.

A must-watch day of baseball today: Game 1 - Scott Diamond vs Max Scherzer at 1:05 PM
Game 2 - P.J. Walters vs Drew Smyly at 7:05 PM

The HBWHOF's day can be summarized in a few photo's...
